The MIC860YC5-TR is a Micrel (now Microchip Technology) Teeny series ultra-low power operational amplifier in SC-70-5 packaging. It provides a 4 MHz gain-bandwidth product while consuming only 30 µA typical supply current, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The rail-to-rail output and ground-sensing input common mode range provide maximum signal range flexibility. The SC-70 package occupies approximately half the board area of a SOT-23 package. Note: This product is End of Life; Microchip recommends the MCP6476UT-E/LT as a replacement.

The MIC860 is a CMOS operational amplifier with a single-stage topology optimized for low power consumption. The input stage uses P-channel MOSFETs providing ground-sensing capability (common mode range includes GND). The output stage is configured as a rail-to-rail push-pull amplifier capable of driving the output voltage to within a few millivolts of both supply rails. Internal compensation ensures stability with capacitive loads up to several hundred picofarads. The 4 MHz gain-bandwidth and 3 V/µs slew rate support moderate-speed signal processing while maintaining ultra-low quiescent current.
