PMA2-123LN+ uses a 2x2mm 8-lead MCLP (QFN-style) package from Mini-Circuits with Pin 1 identified by a dot in the corner. The RF signal path is: Pin 3 = RF IN, Pin 6 = RF OUT + DC IN. All other pins (1,2,4,5,7,8) and the exposed paddle connect to GND. The RF OUT pin also serves as the DC supply input — an external RFC (radio frequency choke) or bias tee is required to inject 5V DC while blocking RF. Input and output are AC-coupled internally. The exposed paddle must be soldered to the PCB ground plane for both electrical ground return and thermal dissipation. Ground vias directly under the paddle improve RF performance at frequencies above 6GHz.
