The RC0805FR-070RL from YAGEO is a 0 ohm chip jumper in 0805 (2.0×1.25mm) package. ~2A current rating for power and signal net bridging. The 0805 footprint provides higher current capacity than 0402 jumpers and is easier for manual rework. Used for configuration selection, routing crossovers, and ground plane connections.

A solid metal element with no resistive film. Actual resistance is typically <50 mOhm including contact resistance. The 0805 footprint with larger metal cross-section supports ~2A versus ~1A for 0402. Can be populated or depopulated (DNP) to configure product variants from the same PCB.
