The RC0805FR-07180RL from Yageo is an RC_L series general purpose thick film chip resistor in 0805 (2012 metric) package with 180Ω resistance, ±1% tolerance, and 0.125W power rating. Constructed on a high-grade ceramic substrate with thick film resistive element, this resistor is laser-trimmed to the rated value and protected by a halogen-free epoxy overcoat. The Ni/Sn terminations provide excellent solderability and reliability. Suitable for all general purpose applications requiring cost-effective resistance.

The RC0805FR-07180RL thick film resistor provides 180Ω resistance through a screen-printed thick film element on a ceramic substrate. The thick film process deposits a resistive paste that is fired at high temperature to form a stable resistive element. Laser trimming achieves the precise resistance value within ±1% tolerance. Current flowing through the resistor converts electrical energy to heat (limited to 0.125W maximum), while the ±100ppm/°C TCR characterizes resistance variation with temperature.
