The S25FL128P0XMFI001 from Infineon is a 128Mbit SPI NOR Flash with 104MHz clock, uniform 64KB sectors, MirrorBit technology, and 8-SOIC package. NRND – superseded by S25FL128S.

The S25FL128P communicates via SPI using standard commands. Data is read by clocking out on SO while asserting CS# and providing SCK. Programming requires Write Enable (WREN) followed by Page Program (PP) with up to 256 bytes. The 64KB sector erase command (D8h or 20h) clears a full sector in 0.5s. Block protection is configured via status register BP bits, and the WP#/ACC pin enables hardware write protection or accelerated programming mode (8.5-9.5V applied).
