The SN74LVC1G14 is a single Schmitt-trigger inverter from Texas Instruments designed for 1.65V to 5.5V operation. The Schmitt-trigger input architecture provides different threshold levels for positive-going (VT+) and negative-going (VT-) signals, creating hysteresis (delta-VT) that makes the device tolerant to slow or noisy input transitions. The device performs the Boolean function Y = NOT(A) and is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The DCK (SC-70-5) package offers a compact footprint for space-constrained designs.

The SN74LVC1G14 contains a single inverting buffer with Schmitt-trigger inputs. The input stage has two switching thresholds: a higher VT+ for rising signals and a lower VT- for falling signals. The difference (VT+ minus VT-) is the hysteresis voltage, which prevents output oscillation when the input signal slowly traverses the switching region or has noise superimposed. The CMOS push-pull output stage provides balanced +/-24 mA drive at 3.3V. The Ioff circuitry disables the output when VCC is 0V, preventing backflow current during partial-power-down conditions and supporting live insertion.
