The SN74LVC1G32 is a single 2-input positive OR gate from Texas Instruments’ LVC logic family, designed for 1.65-V to 5.5-V VCC operation. This device performs the Boolean function Y = A OR B in a compact SC-70 package. The device features over-voltage tolerant inputs, Ioff circuitry for partial-power-down support, and low power consumption, making it an excellent choice for logic glue, signal combining, and voltage translation in portable and mixed-voltage digital systems.

The SN74LVC1G32 implements the OR logic function (Y = A + B) using complementary CMOS transistors. When either or both inputs (A, B) are at logic high, the output Y is driven to logic high. Only when both inputs are at logic low does the output go low. The internal CMOS structure provides rail-to-rail output swing with minimal power consumption in steady state. Ioff circuitry disconnects the output stage when VCC is removed, preventing current backflow in multi-rail systems.
