The SRU1048A-101Y from Bourns is a 100 µH shielded power inductor in a compact 10x10x4.8mm SMD package. Constructed with a ferrite drum core and wirewound winding, it provides 1.2A RMS current rating and 1A saturation current with 220mΩ maximum DC resistance. The shielded construction minimizes magnetic field radiation for EMI-sensitive applications. The SRU1048A uses a shielded drum core construction where the wirewound coil is wrapped around a cylindrical ferrite core and enclosed by a ferrite shield.
