The TPS386000 is a precision quad voltage supervisor designed for monitoring multiple voltage rails in complex systems. It provides independent monitoring of up to four supply voltages with factory-programmable thresholds, each with ±0.5% accuracy over temperature. The device integrates a programmable watchdog timer, manual reset input, and adjustable reset timeout period. Its compact VQFN package and flexible configuration make it an ideal choice for FPGA, processor, and multi-rail systems that require reliable power-on reset and undervoltage detection.

The TPS386000 continuously monitors up to four voltage rails through dedicated sense inputs. Each sense input is compared against a factory-set threshold voltage by a precision comparator. When any monitored rail drops below its threshold, the corresponding reset output asserts low. An internal voltage reference ensures ±0.5% threshold accuracy. The reset timeout period is set by an external capacitor on the CT pin, controlling the minimum duration the reset remains asserted after all rails return above threshold. The watchdog timer monitors a periodic strobe signal from the host processor; if the strobe is not received within the programmed window, the watchdog output asserts to reset the processor. The manual reset (MR) pin allows an external signal to trigger a reset independently of voltage conditions.
