The TS5A3159DCKR is a SPDT (2:1 mux) analog switch from TI with 1Ω on-resistance, 200MHz bandwidth, and 1.8V to 5.5V supply. The ultra-low Ron and flatness minimize signal distortion for audio and video routing. Low 5pC charge injection reduces glitch energy in sensitive analog paths. Break-before-make prevents momentary shorting during switching. The tiny SOT-23-6 package and tape & reel packing suit high-volume portable and consumer applications.

The TS5A3159 is a CMOS analog switch using transmission gate topology. The select (SEL) pin controls which of the two NC or NO paths connects to the common (COM) pin. When SEL is low, NC connects to COM; when SEL is high, NO connects to COM. Break-before-make ensures both paths are briefly disconnected during switching to prevent shorting. The 1Ω Ron minimizes voltage drop and signal attenuation. The wide 1.8V to 5.5V supply range supports both 1.8V and 3.3V/5V signal levels.
