The UPD78F0513GB-UES-A from Renesas is an 8-bit 78K0/KA2+ microcontroller in QFP-80 package. 128KB flash and 7KB RAM for complex embedded firmware. 20MHz 78K0 core for 20 MIPS throughput. 67 I/O pins with 6 UART channels, CSI, I2C, 8-channel 10-bit ADC, and 8 PWM outputs. For industrial motor inverter control, multi-serial communication gateways, and building automation.

The 78K0/KA2+ core is a CISC architecture with register bank switching for fast interrupt response. Flash stores program code; internal RAM provides data and stack memory. The 6 UART channels enable simultaneous communication with multiple peripherals. The 10-bit ADC converts analog sensor inputs. Internal watchdog timer and low-voltage detector provide operational safety. On-chip debugger (UPI) supports development and field diagnostics.
