The YM-ECEL-1055 is a JST coaxial cable assembly providing a 50Ω RF interconnect between a PCB-mounted U.FL/IPEX-compatible connector and a panel-mount SMA jack (female) connector. With 150mm cable length and DC-to-6 GHz bandwidth, it supports Wi-Fi 6E, 5G sub-6 GHz, Bluetooth, and GPS applications. The low insertion loss (<1.0 dB at 2.4 GHz) and excellent VSWR (<1.5:1) ensure reliable signal integrity for external antenna connections in IoT gateways, cellular modules, and industrial wireless equipment.

The YM-ECEL-1055 operates as a 50Ω characteristic impedance transmission line using coaxial cable geometry. The inner conductor carries the RF signal while the outer shield provides ground return and EMI shielding. The U.FL (MHF) connector on the module end mates with the surface-mount U.FL jack on the wireless module PCB, while the SMA jack on the other end provides a panel-mount interface for an external antenna. Impedance continuity across both connectors and the cable (50Ω throughout) minimizes signal reflections (VSWR) and insertion loss, ensuring maximum power transfer between the RF transceiver and antenna across the DC-6 GHz frequency range.
