The 150060GS75000 from ams-OSRAM is a green 0603 ChipLED with 572nm dominant wavelength and 75 mcd typical luminous intensity at 20mA. The ultra-compact 1.6×0.8mm footprint suits high-density indicator arrays and backlighting. 120 degree viewing angle provides wide off-axis visibility. 3.2V forward voltage is compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic supplies through a current-limit resistor.

InGaN/GaN LED die on a ceramic submount. Forward current flows through the pn junction, generating photons by electroluminescence. The InGaN active layer composition sets the 572nm green emission wavelength. The silicone encapsulation lens shapes the 120 degree far-field pattern. White reflector cup maximizes light extraction efficiency.
