The Rubycon 450LXW150MEFR18X35 is a high-voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitor from the LXW series. It provides 150µF capacitance at 450V DC rating with ±20% tolerance. The capacitor achieves an impressive 12000-hour lifetime at 105°C and supports ripple currents up to 920mA at 120Hz (1.84A at 100kHz). The radial through-hole package features 7.5mm lead spacing and compact 18mm diameter construction, suitable for high-density PCB layouts.

The 450LXW150MEFR18X35 is a polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor. It consists of an anode aluminum foil with an oxide layer (Al₂O₃) formed electrochemically as the dielectric, a cathode aluminum foil, and conductive electrolyte-impregnated separator paper. When voltage is applied (positive to anode), the oxide layer acts as the dielectric, storing charge at the anode-oxide interface. The large surface area achieved through etching of the foils enables high capacitance in a compact volume. The LXW series uses advanced electrolyte formulation for extended life and low impedance at high frequencies.
