The MC34PF8100EQEPR2 is a 12-channel PMIC from NXP with EQ OTP configuration, designed specifically for i.MX 8QM and S32V application processors. It integrates 7 high-efficiency buck converters and 4 LDO regulators delivering up to 10 A total output. The EQ OTP variant provides a different pre-programmed power sequencing and voltage configuration compared to the EP variant, optimized for specific i.MX 8QM use cases. Regulator parameters remain adjustable via 3.4 MHz I2C after startup.

The MC34PF8100EQEPR2 operates identically to the EP variant but with different OTP fuse values (EQ program ID). The state machine loads OTP configuration on power-up, sequences the regulators according to the EQ profile, and then allows I2C-based dynamic adjustment. The watchdog timer monitors the host processor, and independent OV/UV monitoring circuits provide fault detection. Multi-phase buck configurations support high-current rails for CPU and GPU domains.
