The RN731ETD1002B25 from KOA is a 10 kOhm precision thin film chip resistor array in an 0603 package from the RN73 series. The thin film technology delivers ultra-tight +/-0.1% tolerance and +/-25 ppm/degC TCR, making it ideal for precision analog circuits requiring matched resistance elements. The RN73 series provides excellent long-term stability, low current noise, and low voltage coefficient. The compact 0603 footprint with multiple matched elements reduces board space and placement cost compared to discrete precision resistors.

The RN73 series uses a sputtered nichrome thin film resistive layer on an alumina substrate. Multiple resistive elements are patterned and laser-trimmed on the same substrate, providing inherently matched resistance values with tracking TCR between elements. The +/-0.1% tolerance is achieved through precision laser trimming. Being on the same substrate, the elements experience identical thermal conditions, ensuring that resistance ratios remain stable over temperature variations. This matching characteristic is critical for precision divider and bridge circuits.
