The BQ24195LRGET from Texas Instruments is a 2.5A switch charger plus boost, I2C, VQFN-24 in a VQFN-24 package. It provides a complete battery management solution with programmable charging, thermal regulation, and safety features for portable and USB-powered applications.

The charger uses a switch-mode buck topology to efficiently convert input voltage to the battery charging voltage. A charge current sense resistor provides current feedback for CC mode. The I2C interface allows dynamic adjustment of charge parameters and monitoring of battery status.
