The 0463015.ER is a Littelfuse NANO2 463 series fast-acting, very high current subminiature surface mount fuse. It is rated at 15A with 250V AC and 100V DC voltage ratings, providing high interrupting capability of 100A at 250V AC. The fuse offers superior thermal cycling endurance of 500 cycles with low temperature rise and excellent temperature stability. It is designed for datacom and telecom equipment including high-end servers, base stations, power supplies, and blade computing applications.

The 0463015.ER operates as a fast-acting sacrificial overcurrent protection device. Under normal operating conditions (current ≤ 15A), the fuse element conducts current with minimal voltage drop due to its low 4.7 mΩ cold resistance. When an overcurrent condition occurs, the fuse element heats rapidly due to I²R power dissipation. The fast-acting characteristic means the element melts and opens the circuit quickly when the current exceeds approximately 200% of the rated current (opens within 60 seconds at 200% rated current). The ceramic body provides arc extinction capability to safely interrupt fault currents up to 100A AC.
