The capacitor achieves 10000-hour lifetime at 105°C and supports ripple currents up to 530mA at 120Hz (1.325A at 100kHz). The compact 18mm diameter × 20mm length radial package with 7.5mm lead spacing offers high energy density for high-voltage power supply applications.

The 400BXW68MEFR18X20 is a polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor. The anode foil is etched and formed with an aluminum oxide dielectric layer. The cathode foil and electrolyte-impregnated separator are wound into a cylindrical element housed in an aluminum can. The BXW series uses a specialized electrolyte formulation that provides long life (10000 hours) and low impedance at high frequencies, while maintaining stable capacitance across the -40°C to +105°C operating range.
