The 74HC595PW from Nexperia is an 8-bit shift register with output latch and tri-state output in a TSSOP-16 package. It converts serial data to parallel output, enabling microcontrollers to control many outputs using only three GPIO pins. The device supports shift frequencies up to 100MHz and daisy-chain cascading for unlimited output expansion.
