The BQ27621YZFR-G1A is a system-side single-cell Li-Ion battery fuel gauge manufactured by Texas Instruments, utilizing the Dynamic Voltage Correlation (DVC) algorithm to report remaining capacity, state-of-charge (SOC), voltage, and temperature without requiring an external sense resistor. Packaged in a tiny 9-pin DSBGA (YZF) measuring only 1.62 x 1.58 mm, it communicates via a 400 kHz I2C interface and supports 4.2V, 4.3V, and 4.35V battery chemistries.
