The LM317LDR2G from onsemi is a 100 mA adjustable positive voltage regulator with output range 1.2V to 37V. It is the SMD version of the classic LM317L, providing excellent line/load regulation and thermal/overcurrent protection in a SOT-223 package.

Principio de funcionamiento

An internal bandgap reference maintains 1.25V between VOUT and ADJ pins. External resistor divider from VOUT to ADJ to GND sets the output voltage: VOUT = 1.25V × (1 + R2/R1). The ADJ pin draws only ~50 µA, enabling accurate setting with standard resistors. Current limit (~200 mA) and thermal shutdown protect the device.
