The R1173S001B-E2-F from Ricoh is a 1.0V fixed 300 mA ultra-low-noise LDO regulator with only 8 µVRMS output noise and 80 dB PSRR. The 1.6×1.6mm DFN-4 package targets noise-critical RF and PLL power rails in smartphones and wireless modules.

Principio de funcionamiento

A noise-filtered bandgap reference drives the error amplifier and PMOS pass element. External NR capacitor on the BYPASS pin filters reference noise to achieve 8 µVRMS. The ultra-small DFN-4 package minimizes parasitic inductance for high-frequency PSRR performance. 180 mV dropout at 300 mA allows operation from a 1.2V input.
