It features AEC-Q100 qualification, adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to 42V, and programmable switching frequency from 100kHz to 2.5MHz. The device integrates a 150mΩ high-side switch and provides Power Good output and spread-spectrum EMI reduction.

The RTQ2943GSP-QA is an AEC-Q100 qualified 42V 3.5A synchronous buck converter from Richtek with programmable frequency, Power Good, and spread-spectrum EMI reduction for automotive applications.

The RTQ2943 uses a constant-on-time (COT) control scheme with an internal high-side NMOS switch. The switching frequency is set by an external resistor on the RT/SYNC pin. The output voltage is set by a resistor divider from VOUT to FB. The device operates in CCM at heavy load and transitions to DCM or PSM at light load for efficiency.
