The SQJ479EP-T1_GE3 from Vishay is a -60V -50A P-channel MOSFET in PowerPAK SO-8. 13 mOhm RDS(on) for efficient high-side switching without charge pump. The P-channel simplifies high-side load switch design since the gate is pulled to ground to turn on – no boost voltage needed. PowerPAK SO-8 provides excellent thermal performance.

A negative VGS (gate below source) creates an inversion channel connecting source to drain. For high-side switching, the source is connected to the supply rail and the gate is pulled to ground to turn on. No gate drive voltage above the supply is needed, unlike N-channel high-side which requires a charge pump or bootstrap.
