The HF140FF/012-2HSW3 operates as an electromechanical relay. When 12VDC is applied to the coil, the electromagnetic force generated attracts the armature, which closes the 2 Form A (normally open) contacts through mechanical linkage. The 2.0mm contact gap ensures reliable isolation when the relay is de-energized, meeting enhanced safety requirements for household and industrial applications. When coil voltage is removed, the return spring forces the armature back, opening the contacts. The AgSnO2 contact material provides excellent resistance to arc erosion during make/break operations, extending electrical endurance to 100,000 operations.
