The 64Mbit memory is organized as 8M x 8 bits with uniform 4KB sectors and 64KB blocks. The MX25R6435F operates as a multi-mode serial NOR Flash with ultra-wide voltage capability. In high performance mode, it achieves faster clock speeds and higher throughput at the cost of slightly higher power consumption. In ultra-low power mode, it reduces operating frequency and current draw to minimize power consumption, ideal for battery operation. The device supports standard SPI mode with Single I/O, as well as Dual I/O and Quad I/O modes for increased data throughput. Commands, addresses, and data are transferred serially synchronized with the SCLK input. An internal state machine manages all program and erase operations automatically, with status available via status register polling. Program/Erase Suspend/Resume allows temporarily halting an operation to service a read request in another sector, then resuming the original operation. The wide voltage range is achieved through careful circuit design and optimized charge pump architecture that works efficiently across the full 1.65V-3.6V range.
