The 8-963964-7 from TE Connectivity is an AMP MCP series sealed wire-to-wire inline connector for automotive applications. IP67 rated when mated for protection against moisture, dust, and fluid ingress in engine compartment and underbody locations. The MCP contact system provides reliable high-current connection with vibration-resistant secondary lock.

The MCP (Miniature Concentrated Power) contact system uses high-normal-force socket contacts with long wipe distance for reliable connection under vibration. Silicone cavity seals and interface seal achieve IP67 when mated. The inline wire-to-wire configuration allows harness-to-harness connection without PCB mounting. Secondary lock prevents contact backout.
