The BCM6726B0KFFBG is a 4×4 IEEE 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 MAC/PHY/Radio system-on-a-chip (SoC) from Broadcom. It is designed as a single-radio access point chip that can selectively operate in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or 6 GHz band with up to 160 MHz channel bandwidth, delivering up to 5.75 Gbps PHY rate. Taking advantage of Multi-Link Operation (MLO) in addition to multi-user technologies such as OFDMA and MU-MIMO, the BCM6726 delivers better throughput, lower latency, and high reliability to consumer devices in a home network.

The BCM6726 integrates a complete Wi-Fi 7 MAC, PHY, and radio subsystem in a single chip. The radio front-end supports 4×4 MIMO with up to 160 MHz channel bandwidth. The MAC layer implements 802.11be features including MLO for simultaneous multi-band aggregation, OFDMA for multi-user channel access, and 4096-QAM for peak spectral efficiency. AFC enables standard-power operation in the 6 GHz band under regulatory coordination. ZeroWait DFS reduces channel-switching latency. The chip interfaces with an external host CPU or SoC via PCIe.
