The CC0402KRX7R9BB103 from YAGEO is a 10nF 50V X7R MLCC in an ultra-compact 0402 (1.0×0.5mm) package. X7R dielectric provides +/-15% capacitance stability over the -55 to 125C range. 10nF is ideal for high-frequency decoupling of digital ICs, providing low impedance bypass at 10-100MHz. 50V rating offers comfortable margin for 3.3V and 5V rails.

Alternating nickel inner electrodes and barium titanate (X7R) ceramic dielectric layers are stacked and co-fired. The X7R Class II dielectric uses ferroelectric barium titanate with additives for moderate temperature stability. DC bias reduces effective capacitance (typically 10-20% at rated voltage), which must be considered in design.
