The 49S-27.000-F-20-30-30-A is a 27.000MHz AT-cut crystal in an HC-49/SMD metal can package with +/-20ppm tolerance and +/-30ppm stability for video and RF reference clock applications.

The crystal uses an AT-cut quartz resonator vibrating in thickness shear mode at 27.000MHz. The AT-cut provides excellent frequency stability over temperature. When placed in the feedback path of an oscillator circuit with appropriate load capacitance, the piezoelectric effect sustains precise oscillation. The 27MHz frequency is commonly used as a reference for video systems (NTSC/PAL color subcarrier) and RF transceivers.
