Working Principle
The AD8630 uses a chopper-stabilized (auto-zeroing) architecture that continuously measures and nulls the input offset voltage. The main amplifier is periodically disconnected from the signal path while a nulling amplifier measures its offset and stores correction in on-chip capacitors. This cycle repeats at ~15kHz, effectively eliminating DC offset and 1/f noise. The result is 5uV max VOS with 0.02uV/C drift – specs typically associated with chopper amps but with 2.4MHz bandwidth exceeding most alternatives.
