The BT258S-800R from NXP is a 25A 800V sensitive gate SCR in TO-247 package. 800V blocking voltage for 400VAC three-phase and 480VAC industrial supply applications. 5mA gate trigger for logic-level drive. 25A RMS current for industrial motor soft-start, heater power control, and high-voltage AC solid-state relays.

Same PNPN four-layer structure as BT258-500R but with 800V blocking achieved by wider base region and optimized junction termination. The S suffix indicates a higher voltage grade. Phase-angle control: gate trigger is delayed from each AC zero crossing by a controlled phase angle, varying the average power delivered to the load from 0% (180 degrees) to 100% (0 degrees).

  • In case of loss or severe damage during transit, please contact us within 48 hours after receiving the tracking information. We will assist you in filing a claim with the logistics provider.
