The GRM31CR60J107MEA8L from Murata achieves 100uF in a compact 1206 package. 6.3VDC X5R dielectric provides effective low-voltage decoupling in smartphones and portable devices. Very low ESR (~5 mOhm) at high frequency makes it superior to tantalum for noise suppression. MSL 1 rating.

Ultra-thin-layer multilayer construction with many alternating Ni electrodes and X5R ceramic dielectric layers. Thin dielectrics enable high capacitance density. X5R Class 2 dielectric provides +/-15% stability over -55 to 85C. Low ESR from multiple parallel electrode paths.
