The Cortex-M0 core executes Thumb instruction set with 2-stage pipeline achieving 0.9 DMIPS/MHz. Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC) supports 32 interrupts with 4 priority levels. System tick timer provides OS timing. On-chip oscillator (IRC) runs at 12MHz for quick startup; PLL boosts to 50MHz. GPIO ports support pin interrupt and pattern match. Flash accelerator with prefetch buffer ensures single-cycle flash access at 50MHz.
