The NCV2901DTBR2G from onsemi is an AEC-Q100 automotive-qualified version of the classic LM2901 quad comparator. Four independent comparators operate from 3V to 36V single supply with 25nA typ input bias current. Open-collector outputs allow wired-OR connection and interface to TTL/CMOS logic. Input common-mode range includes ground for single-supply operation. TSSOP-14 package for space-constrained automotive applications.

Each comparator channel contains a differential input stage driving an open-collector output stage. When IN+ > IN-, the output transistor is off (high impedance, pulled high externally). When IN+ < IN-, the output transistor saturates, pulling output low. The 25nA input bias current allows high-impedance sensing without significant loading. The 1.3us response time suits moderate-speed threshold detection applications.
