The XA9572XL-15TQG100I from Xilinx is an automotive-grade CoolRunner-II CPLD in TQFP-100 package. 72 macrocells with 15ns pin-to-pin delay. 1.8V core with 1.5-3.3V I/O for mixed-voltage systems. Ultra-low 30uA standby power for always-on automotive ECUs. -40 to 125C I-grade automotive temperature range. For automotive glue logic, protocol bridging, and bus arbitration.

CoolRunner-II uses XPLA3 architecture with Function Blocks (FBs) containing macrocells with product-term logic, a flip-flop, and steerable product-term clock. Advanced Interconnect Matrix (AIM) routes signals between FBs. The 1.8V core reduces power consumption; I/O banks support 1.5V-3.3V for mixed-voltage interfacing. Configuration is non-volatile EEPROM (instant-on). 30uA standby is achieved by DataGATE signal blocking internal clocking.
