The LTC7001EMSE from Analog Devices is a fast 80V high-side N-channel MOSFET gate driver with internal charge pump. The charge pump maintains gate drive voltage above the source for 100% duty cycle operation without a bootstrap capacitor. 2A peak drive with 15ns rise time for fast MOSFET switching. Ideal for hot-swap, load switch, and battery disconnect applications.

An internal charge pump generates a voltage above the supply rail (VCC + 5V) to drive the high-side N-channel MOSFET gate above the source. Unlike bootstrap drivers, the charge pump operates continuously, supporting 100% duty cycle (steady-state ON). The 2A output stage charges/discharges the MOSFET gate capacitance quickly for low switching losses. UVLO prevents operation with insufficient gate drive.
