Principio de funcionamiento
The M48Z35 integrates a 32Kx8 SRAM array, a real-time clock (RTC), and a lithium energy cell in a single package. During normal operation (VCC present), the SRAM and RTC operate from the external supply. When VCC drops below the switch-over threshold (4.5V), the internal lithium cell automatically powers the SRAM and RTC, maintaining data and timekeeping. The RTC provides seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year with automatic leap year correction. The SRAM is accessed at standard address locations; the RTC registers are accessed at the top 8 locations via the address bus.
