The K4B4G1646E-BYMA from Samsung is a 4Gb (256M x 16) DDR3L SDRAM in 96-ball FBGA package. 1.35V DDR3L operation for lower power versus 1.5V DDR3. DDR3L-1600 speed grade (1600 Mbps per pin). x16 data bus for 3.2GB/s peak bandwidth. Industrial -40 to 85C temperature range for embedded and industrial applications.

Double Data Rate: data is transferred on both rising and falling clock edges, doubling throughput versus SDR. DDR3L uses 8n prefetch architecture: each read/write command accesses 8 data words in a burst. The 1.35V supply reduces power by ~25% versus 1.5V DDR3. On-die termination (ODT) eliminates external termination resistors. ZQ calibration maintains drive strength and ODT impedance accuracy over temperature and voltage.
