Product Overview
The Microchip MIC5209-3.3YSTR is a 500mA low-noise LDO voltage regulator with a fixed 3.3V output in a SOT-223 package. It features very low dropout voltage (typically 10mV at light loads, 350mV at full load), better than 1% output voltage accuracy, and ultra-low noise capability. Designed for battery-powered and handheld devices, it includes an enable/shutdown pin, reversed-battery protection, current limiting, and overtemperature shutdown. The device operates from 2.5V to 16V input over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
