Product Overview
The SER1512-103MED is a high-current shielded power inductor from Coilcraft’s SER1512 series. It features 10µH inductance with 15.7A temperature rise current rating and 11.3A saturation current. The flat-wire construction provides exceptionally low DC resistance (3.7mΩ max), making it ideal for high-power DC-DC converter applications including POL, VRM, and VRD designs.
This inductor uses a ferrite core with flat wire winding for flat inductance vs. current characteristics and high energy storage. The magnetically shielded construction minimizes EMI radiation. AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive applications. The ‘MED’ suffix indicates matte tin termination and 13″ machine-ready reel packaging.
