The STM32L010 uses the Cortex-M0+ core optimized for low power with a 2-stage pipeline. The Flash accelerator enables zero-wait execution at 32MHz. Multiple low-power modes balance performance and consumption: Run (74µA/MHz), Low-power Run, Stop (0.55µA with RAM retention), and Standby (0.43µA). Fast wakeup from Stop mode in 3.5µs enables aggressive duty cycling.
