Product Overview
The TL432AQDBZR from TI is an automotive-grade (Q1) precision shunt voltage reference with 1.24V adjustable output and ±0.5% initial accuracy. The 80 µA minimum cathode current enables low-power biasing in automotive ECU and sensor applications.

Working Principle
An internal bandgap reference generates a stable 1.24V between REF and ANODE. An error amplifier drives the cathode to maintain this voltage. When the cathode current exceeds 80 µA, the reference regulates. External resistor divider from CATHODE to ANODE sets any desired voltage above 1.24V. A-grade trimming ensures ±0.5% accuracy.
Applications
- Automotive ECU voltage bias
- Sensor excitation reference
- Isolated feedback reference
- LDO feedback divider
