The TPS563200DDCR uses TI’s D-CAP2 (Direct Capacitor-Area Proportional 2) control mode, which is an emulated current-mode control that eliminates the need for external compensation components. The D-CAP2 architecture senses the output voltage ripple directly from the output capacitor, using it as the PWM ramp signal. This simplifies design while maintaining stability with low-ESR ceramic output capacitors. Auto-skip mode reduces switching frequency at light loads for improved efficiency.
