Working Principle

PMOS pass element with error amplifier and bypassed internal reference achieves ultra-low 30 µVRMS noise. An external bypass capacitor on the NR pin filters reference noise. The adjustable output is set by an external resistor divider from OUT to FB. 75 mV dropout at 150 mA allows operation from batteries near their end-of-life voltage.
