The TPS79933DDCR from TI is a low-noise, high-PSRR LDO with 3.3V fixed output in SOT-23-5. 70 dB PSRR at 1kHz and 28 uVrms output noise (10Hz-100kHz) make it ideal for noise-sensitive RF, analog, and audio applications. 75 mV dropout at 200mA and 50uA quiescent current provide efficient operation from 2.7-5.5V input. Enable pin with auto-discharge ensures rapid power-down.

The TPS799 uses a PMOS pass transistor with a low-noise error amplifier and optimized reference circuit. The clean bandgap reference feeds an RC-filtered node that reduces reference noise before the error amplifier. The fast error amplifier loop achieves 70 dB PSRR by actively rejecting input supply ripple. The 75 mV dropout results from the low RDS(on) of the PMOS pass element at 200mA load.
