The WTR-2965 is a multi-band RF transceiver integrated circuit from Qualcomm, supporting LTE FDD, LTE TDD, WCDMA, and GSM cellular standards. This single-receive, single-transmit device integrates synthesizer, LO generation, and baseband I/Q interfaces in a compact 5x5mm flip-chip BGA package. The -0-59FOWNSP-TR-07-1 is the tape-and-reel production version for mid-tier mobile devices.

The WTR-2965 uses direct-conversion architecture for both receive and transmit paths. On the receive side, incoming RF signals are down-converted directly to baseband I/Q, with integrated LNA and variable gain control. On the transmit side, baseband I/Q signals are up-converted directly to RF with integrated driver amplifier. Integrated fractional-N frequency synthesizers generate all required LO frequencies across supported bands. The device includes power management circuits and control via a serial digital interface.
