The 0154004.DRT is an OMNI-BLOK fuse and holder assembly from Littelfuse’s 154 Series, combining a 4A slow-blow NANO² surface mount fuse with a holder in a single 9.73 × 5.03 × 3.81mm package. This innovative design allows the fuse and holder to be installed on a PCB in a single soldering step, while enabling easy fuse replacement afterwards without exposing the PCB to the detrimental effects of solder heat. The slow-blow characteristic accommodates inrush currents without nuisance opening.

The OMNI-BLOK assembly integrates a NANO² slow-blow fuse within a surface-mount holder. The slow-blow fuse element is designed with a thermal mass that absorbs short-duration inrush currents (such as power-on surges) without opening, while still providing reliable overcurrent protection for sustained fault conditions. When a sustained overcurrent exceeds 4A, the fuse element heats up and eventually melts, interrupting the circuit. The holder allows the spent fuse to be removed and replaced with a new NANO² fuse without desoldering.
