The B82789C0113N002 from TDK (EPCOS) is an automotive-grade 2-line signal common mode choke with 11µH common-mode inductance at 100kHz and 600Ω typical impedance at 10MHz. Rated for 300mA current and 80VDC/42VAC voltage, it effectively suppresses common-mode noise while allowing differential signals to pass. The device is AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive applications, operates from -55°C to +125°C, and comes in a compact horizontal 4 L-lead SMD package (4.5 x 3.2 x 3.0mm).

The B82789C0113N002 uses a current-compensated double choke construction where two windings of equal turns are wound on a common ferrite core. Common-mode currents (flowing in the same direction on both lines) encounter the full inductance, producing high impedance that attenuates noise. Differential-mode signals (flowing in opposite directions) produce canceling magnetic fields, passing through with minimal attenuation. This selective filtering preserves signal integrity while suppressing radiated and conducted EMI.
